"One of the most beautiful and expressive voices in all
of Ireland. Niamh Parsons has the ability to climb into
a song, take ownership and then sing it for the
listener to experience -not simply hear."

Following our recent day of dance to launch our new
dance resourceWhy Dance?, Vic & Tina Smith, and
Shirley Collins,EFDSS, who were all present,
pronounced it a brilliant resource for callers to
enhance their repertoire and teachers to promote
traditional heritage dance in the curriculum or at
afterschool clubs.

We are at www.whydance.org.uk if youd like to take
a glance, its a manual of user friendly dance
notations, best practic info. and of course 2 CDs of
stonking music .

Its selling well, Colin Andrews of Devon folk
mag, Whats a Foot liked the idea so much he bought
a copy too!

All the very best to you all
Jane Downes and Pat King - authors.
